Jill's Time out!

We left Stonybrook at approx 8 AM. GPS is causing us grief wanting to send us down roads that won’t take our weight and in Rumford, Maine, it sent us into a dead end at a pulp mill where we had to unhook our tow vehicle to turn around. So, Jill got a time out! Wish we would have taken a picture, but tempers were flaring at the time as we had barely been driving and had to unhook already. We finally made it to Calais/ St-Stephen by 4 PM local time. The border crossing was a breeze. It was a very small crossing and if they had sent us to secondary, we would have blocked at least 1 of the 3 lanes at that very small crossing.

The TransCanada was a beautiful drive with Lupines everywhere along the road side. We arrived at  Pine Tree RV in Penobsquis, NB around 5:30 PM. This is PA park and the cost was, $18, for a back-in, 30 AMP site. There is no WIFI, and only 2-3 TV stations. The roads to access the park weren’t the best – and seemed quite round about – it was hard to believe we would actually arrive there at some points, but we did.  It was an OK park for an overnight but we would not stay here again. Going to have an early night tonight and try to get going by 7AM tomorrow. We had left over Crockpot Chicken Paprika on bread for suppe
