Sometimes We should LISTEN to Jill

We did not get away until almost 10 a.m. as we were packing up some last minute things. Of course, we forgot some things.  We discovered when we stopped for the day that we had picked up the remote for the Samsung TV in the kitchen and left the remote for the Sony DVD (for RV) in its place. We had a long delay at the border, which is very unusual for the Prescott/Ogdensburg crossing. We did not pay attention to the GPS and instead headed straight for the U.S., which meant we had to drive through the northern states and on down to Maine. Vermont and New Hampshire have very pretty little towns, but we found Maine a little plain. It was a very long drive and we decided that next time we would drive to Montreal and then down to Maine. It looks like that route would probably save us three hours. We arrived around 7:10 PM at Stonybrook Recreation RV Park in Hanover, Maine. It was a PA park and was $17 for the night for a pull-thru, 50 AMP site with WIFI and cable. It was a decent enough park for overnight. We were tired and only had munchies for supper and we hit the sack early.
